Beatport Unveils Beatport Studio To Make Production Tools Easily Accessible To Artists

Today, online dance music marketplace Beatport has unveiled Beatport Studio, a new membership that offers a number of tools to music producers, all in one place.

Beatport Studio will consolidate creative instruments, samples, and workflow software from Plugin Boutique, Loopmasters and Loopcloud under one “flexible and cost-effective model,” giving artists everything they need to “establish, expand and refine their production style.”

Members will gain access to an “ever-expanding portfolio of plugins” with the freedom to hand-pick tools themselves and rotate their choices every 30 days.

The new model places emphasis on creative instruments and experimentation, with “Frozen State” technology allowing rotated plugins to continue functioning in ongoing projects.

Beatport Studio’s plugin offerings include tools from industry leaders like Baby Audio, UJAM, and Applied Acoustic Systems, as well as rising developers such as Lunacy Audio, Klevgrand, and Excite Audio.

Browsing for samples via the Loopcloud Sounds plugin effortlessly takes place within one’s digital audio workstation (DAW). In addition to Loopcloud’s expansive library of high-quality, royalty-free samples, Beatport Studio members will also receive access to two more DAWs: Bitwig Studio 8-Track and Cubase LE.

“It’s an exciting time for music producers,” Beatport Producer Group Vice President Gareth Halsall said in a press release. “We’re proud to bring a new dimension to the industry by combining flexibility and choice, ultimately enriching the creative experience for our users.”

Beatport Studio is now available in two different subscription options: monthly ($11.99 per month) and annual ($119.99 per year). Click here for more information.
