Beatport Will Accept Bitcoin Payments In June, Reveal NFT Series

Beatport is finally jumping into the world of cryptocurrency and NFTs

Today, Beatport announced that the company will be accepting payments via Bitcoin starting in June of this year. Beatport announced that the collaboration will be supported by Crypto.com and will be the first major online music store that will allow purchases via Bitcoin.

In support of Beatport’s announcement, the company further announced that it will be releasing a completely new and unique audiovisual NFT compilation this upcoming Friday, April 23. The NFT’s will be called, ‘Music For Future Dance Floors’ and will feature Charlotte de Witte, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Pan-Pot, Boys Noize, and others. The NFT’s will come via 10 ‘mini drops’ and will each be priced at $303 and will be followed by an auction for the full NFT compilation. The winner of the auction will receive a bonus track as well as passes to a show of one of the artists once live events return.
