German techno artist and Berghain resident Ben Klock has just announced the return of his highly-touted PHOTON audiovisual show.
After a four-year hiatus, PHOTON will take place at Knockdown Center‘s Main Hall in Queens, New York on September 2, 2023.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Klock wrote, “We’ve upgraded the audio/visual concept and will go even deeper into the exploration of monochromatic light in interplay with cutting-edge techno.”
Klock added that the PHOTON team is once again working with Berghain light designer Lars Murasch and visual artist Xavier Hirsch.
Joining Klock in support for the PHOTON NYC show will be contemporary techno duo FJAAK, live techno creator Stef Mendesidis, acid techno artist Volvox and Washington D.C. underground performer Juana.
After debuting at London’s Printworks in 2017, PHOTON has brought the spirit of Berlin’s underground techno scene to cities around the world including New York City at Avant Gardner and Amsterdam for ADE, as well as Dublin, São Paulo, Kyiv and more.
Ticket sale details for PHOTON at Knockdown Center have yet to be released, but interested fans should check Knockdown Center’s official website for more information in the coming weeks.
