Beyond Existence Brings Big Bass & Campout Charm To A New Texas Home

Beyond Existence

Two Mersiv sets, Caspa B2B The Widdler, and a weekend spent basking in suspiciously good bass. Beyond Existence is giving us plenty of reasons to pack the camping gear this November.

The independently owned Texas bass festival returns for its seventh edition from November 6-8, bringing underground favorites, serious sound systems, and plenty of sidequest potential to The G Ranch in San Marcos.

It’s a new home for a gathering that has spent years bringing together its corner of the bass community. And if your ideal festival weekend involves getting a little weird with friends, discovering an artist you immediately need to tell everyone about, or talking audio tech with someone you met five minutes ago, Beyond Existence deserves a spot on your radar.

A new home

Beyond Existence is settling into its new home at The G Ranch in San Marcos, bringing three days of underground bass, camping, and community together this November. With a fresh setting to explore, the team is putting together a weekend that carries the festival’s familiar spirit into its next chapter.

After our visit last year, we understand what makes that spirit worth carrying forward. Beyond gave us room to spread out with friends, get close for our favorite sets, and actually dance once we got there. Staff made us feel welcome from the start, and settling in for the weekend came easily.

That feeling is a big part of what makes Beyond worth returning to. Now, there’s a new Ranch to get acquainted with, and we’re excited to find our favorite corners.

A lineup worth leaving your campsite for

Leading the bill is Mersiv, who will explore both ends of his sound with a Slowdown set and a Throwdown set. Plan your emotional processing and your more questionable dance moves accordingly.

His MorFlo Records takeover also brings Jaenga, Lumasi, and Phrva to the ranch, making a strong case for spending some quality time in the label’s orbit.

Caspa B2B The Widdler is another obvious calendar commitment. Putting those two behind the decks together should give deep dubstep fans plenty to work with, while Taiki Nulight brings his slippery mix of UK garage, bass, and 140 sounds into the weekend.

Then there’s Supertask B2B ESCPE, a pairing that should appeal to anyone who likes their bass with a little room to drift. Further down the bill, Ashez, Chef Boyarbeatz, Daggz, Dêtre, G-Space, Hypho B2B Wraz., LIL FISH, and Packet Loss keep the schedule interesting. This is a lineup worth doing some homework on. Your next favorite set could easily come from a name you haven’t saved yet.

The speakers deserve some attention, too

At Beyond Existence, checking out the sound systems is a perfectly reasonable weekend activity.

For 2026, the festival is working with (Sub)culture Audio and its HSD system, alongside BASSBOSS, Texas Bass Culture, Funktion-One, and Paraflex, giving attendees different setups to experience throughout the grounds.

For sound enthusiasts, that’s plenty to be curious about. For everyone else, expect your friend who knows the difference to explain it enthusiastically on the walk over.

Sound system culture is a huge part of Beyond’s identity, and that attention carries through to the dance floor. The artists bring the selections, and the crews behind the rigs help give those tracks the weight, detail, and physical presence bass fans travel for.

You may just come home with stronger opinions about subwoofers.

Leave room for a sidequest

Eventually, you’ll need to eat something, sit down, or investigate whatever caught your attention on the way to the next set.

Beyond leaves room for all three, with interactive art, live painting, fire performances, wellness activities, and local food and retail vendors throughout the weekend.

Electric Hawk will host workshops, giving attendees opportunities to learn something, get involved, and meet people between sets. It’s a good excuse to build a little unscheduled time into the day.

The Boredomfighters Foundation also returns with its Instrument Garden, an interactive studio workshop where festivalgoers can experiment with instruments, samples, and sounds to make music together. After watching artists work their magic all weekend, you can try making a little of your own.

And when the main-stage programming wraps, sound camps including AFTRDUBZ and Motif Movement will keep the music going into the night. The walk back to camp may require a few detours. You know how it goes. One more set turns into sunrise, you still haven’t made it back to your tent, and you’ve somehow added three new friends to the group.

Those are the moments a campout like Beyond makes room for. Come for the artists you’ve been waiting to catch, find a few new favorites, and give yourself permission to get a little sidetracked. With a new ranch to explore and its bass-loving community coming along, year seven has plenty to keep us happily occupied.

Beyond Existence 2026 takes place from November 6-8, at The G Ranch in San Marcos, Texas. Tickets are available here. Follow the festival’s official channels for updated arrival and venue details.
