Though the eyes of the dance music world will be on EDC Las Vegas next week, another hallmark Insomniac festival is also right around the corner: Beyond Wonderland Chicago. With Beyond’s Windy City debut quickly approaching, organizers have announced the festival’s official afterparties.
At the conclusion of each day of Beyond Wonderland Chicago—which runs from June 1-2, 2024 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island—Insomniac will be teaming up with festival partner Auris Presents to keep the magic going at several iconic venues across the city.
Saturday, June 1 will feature six different Beyond Wonderland afterparties. Those in search of techy four-on-the-floor beats will have their choice between Latin house standout HUGEL at PRYSM and UK hero Chris Lorenzo at Spybar.
Also on Saturday, Chicago’s own progressive house legend Kaskade will headline Radius, trap trailblazer RL Grime will play Cermak Hall—located inside Radius—and Apashe will bring his cinematic bass tunes to Primary. Perhaps most notably of all, electro house icon Benny Benassi is set to deliver a rare italo disco set at Smoke & Mirrors.
The house beats will continue on Sunday, June 2, with famously masked DJ Claptone at Prysm, UK stalwart Hannah Wants at Smoke & Mirrors, and rising star AYYBO at Spybar, while Kayzo offers a dose of dubstep at Cermak Hall. An additional Sunday afterparty headliner at Radius will be announced in the coming days.
All of Beyond Wonderland Chicago’s 2024 afterparties are exclusive to festival ticketholders. Beyond Wonderland festival tickets must be purchased by 11:59PM CT tonight, Thursday, May 9, in order to gain access to the afterparty ticket sale.
Afterparty tickets will go on sale here tomorrow, Friday, May 10 at 12PM CT.
