BigCityBeats’ WORLD CLUB DOME’ has postponed their ‘WORLD CLUB DOME’ Las Vegas Edition and has named new September dates.
BigCityBeats’ New Dates
Yesterday, the festival world was shaken. Seven different German festivals were forced to cancel their open-air events this summer due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19. Fortunately, BigCityBeats has come forward and has become the first promoter nationwide to solidify a replacement date for a major event in 2021, meaning, BigCityBeats ‘World Cup Dome’ Las Vegas Edition will happen this September 3-5. The festival publicly commented on the newly announced postponement date, saying,
“We are not cancelling the Las Vegas Edition for 2021. We are happy to announce that Deutsche Bank Park Frankfurt has given us a date for September 3rd, 4th and 5th for the biggest club in the world. Planning for an event in early June this year is too uncertain due to the current situation, but there is still six months until the beginning of September – and a lot will happen in Germany in those months. By then, we may have achieved herd immunity.”
An event of this size would not have been able to continue due to the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the ability to reach herd immunity. Still, BigCityBeats has become the first promoter to solidify a replacement date that will feature more than 300 artists and 25 stages. BigCityBeats ‘WORLD CLUB DOME’ Las Vegas Edition will have developed hygiene and safety procedures that will be carefully planned out prior to the event taking place.
