BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME Las Vegas 2021 will be the first major event held in Germany since lockdown

Based on the status of COVID-19 and live events in Europe, it is looking like BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME Las Vegas 2021 will take place this year starting on June 30th in the Netherlands. The Netherlands will be the first country that the BigCityBeats event will perform at followed by Serbia in July, Austria in August, and Germany in September.

Currently, COVID-19 cases in Germany are on the decline, as the country has been reporting its lowest number of cases since autumn. Furthermore, Fieldlab Events (the primary company hosting piloted events in Europe) has piloted 24 events and a total of 60,000 attendees and has reported that “many festivals could take place, even at maximum capacity.” Additionally, scientists have determined that 99.9% of infections occur indoors which means that many (if not all) open-air venues could re-open their doors this summer.

With this reassuring information, BigCityBeats is gearing up to make history with WORLD CLUB DOME Las Vegas Edition becoming the first major event held in Germany since COVID-19 began to blanket the world. CEO of BigCityBeats, Bernd Breiter, had the following to say about hosting the first major event in Germany since COVID, and how the festival will still maintain proper safety measures,

“We made absolutely the right decision by postponing the world’s largest club from June to September. We have a huge area of forest, meadow, and a swimming pool – which combined are as large as 100 soccer fields – where the WorldClubbers can all stay safely together!” The open-air area of the Deutsche Bank Park (formerly Commerzbank-Arena) offers plenty of space to maintain safe distances.”
