Coachella Adds Classic Band blink-182 For Surprise Last Minute Set

Those eagerly awaiting the last-minute set times for Coachella this weekend were pleasantly surprised to see blink-182 added to the Friday lineup.

On Friday, April 14, the famed pop-punk band will play the Sahara Stage right after a largely dance music lineup of Dombresky, Malaa, and Vintage Culture, and before Jamie Jones, Two Friends, and Metro Boomin.

blink-182 is fronted by singer/bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker with guitarist/singer Tom DeLonge returning for the third time to the group. He had previously left the band all the way back in 2005 before returning in 2009 and then leaving again in 2015.

Tom DeLonge was also featured in ILLENIUM’s 2021 track “Paper Thin.”

The fully reunited trio was supposed to do a South American tour as their first shows back together, but delayed it after Barker injured his finger twice, requiring surgery.

Also performing on Friday at Coachella are Kyle Watson, Dennis Cruz B2B PAWSA, Nora En Pure, Mochakk, TESTPILOT, and Maceo Plex at the Yuma and SG Lewis, Kaytranada, and The Chemical Brothers at the Outdoor Stage.

Whyte Fang will also be making her live show debut at the Gobi.
