BOLO is heading back to LA for his biggest headline show yet.
Fresh off his landmark return to the HARD Summer main stage earlier this month, the San Diego-based house and techno standout yesterday announced he’ll be back in Los Angeles for a proper headline affair at the Hollywood Palladium on November 21, his first in the city in over a year.
“Excited to show you guys what we’ve been cookin up for this function,” BOLO wrote on Instagram. “Gonna be special – see you soon LA.”
It’s been less than two weeks since the producer and DJ’s techy, percussive, and proudly Latino house cuts ignited a crowd of more than 15,000 ravers at the HARD Summer main stage.
In one of the biggest performances of his career, the artist—born Edgar Avalos—returned to the festival where he found his love for dance music to deliver a set packed with unreleased music, viral edits, and the Latin-influenced bangers that have come to define his project. He also gave back to an LA scene that has become a second home on his rapid rise, hosting surprise meet-and-greets with fans and a sold-out BOLO’s Bodega merch pop-up.
Los Angeles isn’t the only city getting love though. The Hollywood Palladium announcement arrived days after the unveiling of BOLO’s Block, a daytime block party series inspired by the carne asada cookouts he grew up attending, set to pop up across California with dates in Sacramento, San Francisco, and San Diego in September and October.
Capping off a breakout year marked by major festival appearances, continued momentum for his Vibraza Records label, and rising representation for the dedicated Latino rave community around him, the block party series will bring together music, curated food and drinks, and local vendors reflecting the flavor of each city, before the Palladium show brings his full-scale vision to life in one of California’s most celebrated venues.
Pre-sale registration for BOLO at the Hollywood Palladium is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access begins tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12, at 12PM PT. General on-sale will follow on Thursday, August 13, at 12PM PT.
