Bonobo Announces Curated OUTLIER Show At Red Rocks

Bonobo is bringing his renowned OUTLIER event series back to Red Rocks this fall.

The eight-time Grammy-nominated electronic artist, famous for his downtempo and experimental productions, will play a headline DJ set at Morrison, Colorado’s iconic open-air venue on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Bonobo—real name Simon Green—will be joined at the event by several of his fellow Ninja Tune stalwarts, including in-demand indie dance names like jazzy Scottish house artist Barry Can’t Swim (DJ set) and Peruvian avant-garde house DJ Sofia Kourtesis, in addition to rising ambient artist Yu Su.

Launched at Brooklyn’s famous, now-closed club Output in 2016, Bonobo’s OUTLIER events began as a series of curated shows and festival stage takeovers keying in on the dancier and more club-focused side of the British artist’s musical prowess.

Running concurrent to Bonobo’s hallmark live instrumental performances, OUTLIER has since scaled up to appear at massive venues and festivals across the globe, including landmark gigs at Printworks, DRUMSHEDS, The Warehouse Project and Glastonbury, among others.

It also served as the catalyst for Bonobo’s own Ninja Tune imprint of the same name, which has provided a home for Bonobo’s club-driven tunes as well as releases and collaborations from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Jaques Greene, and more since its launch in 2020.

This summer, Bonobo will continue his recent run of DJ performances at major festivals like Spain’s Mad Cool, Germany’s MELT, Serbia’s EXIT Festival, and Tomorrowland, among others.

Pre-sale registration for Bonobo presents OUTLIER at Red Rocks 2024 is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin tomorrow, Thursday, June 20 at 10AM MT. General on-sale will follow on Friday, June 21 at 10AM MT.
