Breakaway is heading back to Arizona this month, and we’ve got all the info you need for a proper festival weekend in Phoenix.
After debuting in the city last year, the nation’s leading touring electronic festival returns to Mesa’s Sloan Park Festival Grounds on April 24-25 with performances from over 20 leading national and international touring DJs in partnership with Relentless Beats and Riot Hospitality Group.
From headline performances from Marshmello, Kygo, Loud Luxury, ISOxo, and James Hype to good food, pre-parties, fitness events, brunch beats, and late-night afters, Greater Phoenix is coming alive for Breakaway weekend. Check out all the details below.

Start early
After weeks of pre-parties across the city, the energy continues to rise with several official Breakaway events in the build-up to the festival later this month. Plus, with on-site giveaways at each event, fans can enter for a chance to secure free Breakaway tickets and merch.
The schedule rolls on next Saturday, April 18, with a pop-up bass party featuring local DJs Kvolx, Topiary, GUESTLI$T, Auxii, and more at the Skysill Rooftop in Tempe, but not before the day begins with brunch and beats at the city’s famous Sunbar. Music lovers can pull up for breakfast, booze, and DJ sets from Hotsauce, JONIS, DJ Micah Paul, Mudslide, and Dono Smith from 11AM-4PM. No cover.
The days leading up to each of its 2026 tour stops, Breakaway is also hosting its own Breakaway Run Club events in partnership with Celsius. Fans are invited to meet up and run, recover, and connect with the festival community. Details vary by city. Check out @breakawayrunclub on Instagram for more details as they are announced.

Getting there
Just across the freeway from the Salt River, Breakaway’s festival site at the Sloan Park Festival Grounds, adjacent to the spring training home of the Chicago Cubs, is conveniently located less than 10 miles from the Phoenix airport, within a 30-minute drive from more than eight area colleges, and less than two hours from the University of Arizona, giving traveling fans and locals alike the chance to catch the world’s biggest electronic artists.
Festival attendees can also book a headache-free stay with exclusive rates at one of 40 partner hotels through Breakaway’s 2026 Travel Packages. Fans can bundle their ticket and hotel purchases for additional savings. For more information, visit breakawayfestival.com.

Fuel up
On site at the festival, Breakaway Arizona offers food and beverage vendors serving hot food, cold drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages, including branded activations and freebies from Celsius, White Claw, BeatBox, Jack Daniel’s, Hiyo, and Jimmy John’s. But to ensure you’re fueled before and after the party, there are plenty of local restaurants and bars where fans can grab a bite or sip a pre-fest cocktail.
Closer to the venue, check out Mensho Ramen, Mexican food at Su Casa Grande, and Famous Dave’s BBQ. The rest of Greater Phoenix is a sprawling region full of great restaurants. Top spots in nearby Tempe include drinks at Alibi Rooftop and Filthy Animal, casual dining at Alter Ego, Chuckbox Burgers, and 414 Pizza & Pub. Perched on top of the buttes, Top of the Rock offers fine dining with sweeping views of the Valley.

Bust a move
Unfolding across two primary stages, Breakaway Arizona amasses a lineup of leading dance talent to keep you grooving from start to finish. In addition to performances from colossal dance artists like Marshmello, Kygo, Loud Luxury, ISOxo, and James Hype, fans can escape beats by house favorites like Cassian, Angrybaby, and Dombresky’s Disco Dom alias, G-house favorite Dr. Fresch, UKG innovator MPH, and bass players like TRUTH, Jon Casey, Mersiv, Effin, Grabbitz, and Steller.
Arizona-based artists DELATO, LEESH, and LIVVIEP make up this year’s support, while the festival’s Jimmy John’s silent disco serves up sandwiches and beats by other local selectors.

Party late
When the festival ends at 10PM, Breakaway keeps the party pumping at official afterparties happening in nearby Scottsdale. Night one, April 24, brings MPH to Scottsdale’s MAYA Day + Night club. Then, the venue hosts Disco Dom on night two, April 25, while Dr. Fresch commands the decks at CAKE Nightclub.
