Brutalismus 3000 has released their new single, “Drop Your Spirit.”
The bouncy, thrash-along track landed on Live From Earth yesterday, marking the first single to materialize from Harmony Extended, the companion project to the Berlin-based duo’s sophomore album, released in June.
Defined by the pair’s signature racing kicks and glitchy hyperpop-inspired sonics, the new tune expands the world Brutalismus 3000 built on Harmony, continuing to develop the warped style of techno and nu-gabber that has made them a global force. Since the album was released earlier this year, they’ve rolled on to major show dates at HARD Summer, Osheaga, Boomtown and more.
Produced in collaboration with Dylan Brady, “Drop Your Spirit” was recorded during sessions for their latest album and arrives alongside the announcement of a seven-date North American tour in November, hitting Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
