BUKU: Planet B, is a one-time-only fall iteration of its flagship spring event
BUKU Music + Art Project has revealed its lineup for its flagship spring event, BUKU: Planet B, and it’s full of some of the most influential artists in music. BUKU: Planet B will welcome over 50 acts to its flagship event from October 22-23 of this year, alongside performances from Illenium, Zeds Dead, Jamie xx, Alison Wonderland, Chris Lake, Kaytranada, LSDREAM, Chee, Lucii, TVBOO, Moore Kismet and others.
BUKU: Planet B will seek to capture the expansive multi-genre “curatorial ethos” of BUKU, which reflects the diverse and progressive subculture of New Orleans. The festival will also look to celebrate the resiliency of New Orleans throughout the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the grand return to live music which we have all waited so long for. BUKU’s co-creator, Dante DiPasquale, expressed his excitement for BUKU: Planet B as such,
“For the past year, we’ve watched our fans step outside of their comfort zones and persevere through weird times. PLANET B is the result of us being inspired by them to do the same, and all of us at Team BUKU are excited to finally party with them again.”
Aside from the numerous electronic acts on the lineup, BUKU: Planet B will also welcome Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, Playboi Carti, Pooh Shiesty, Arlo Parks, Ashnikko, Flo Milli, and others. The stage is set for an unbelievable year at BUKU: Planet B, which will be set against the unique backdrop of New Orleans’ Market Street Power Planet and the historic grounds of the old TwiRoPa venue.
