Carl Coxs’ new scholarship will be called the Carl Cox Scholarship Award

Carl Cox has announced that he will be partnering up with WaterBear, The College of Music, on a brand new scholarship that will help celebrate the college’s newly launched Electronic Music and Business degree. All students who are enrolling in the newly established degree will be able to apply for the scholarship. Only one student will be selected for the scholarship.

The student who is selected for the Carl Cox Scholarship Award will receive equipment valued at £15,000 in order to help the winning student with production and any other musical projects she/he is pursuing. The BA (Hons) Electronic Music and Business degree is described as such,

“The BA (Hons) Electronic Music and Business degree is designed to give you the perfect blend of artistic freedom alongside practical strategies to forge your own career. The degree is built on three fundamental elements – your music, your career, and your projects. It deals with what really matters in the industry. It will expand your options and push you to create original, boundary-shifting music.”

The program is scheduled to begin in September of 2021 and will be held either in Brighton or online. To view the full Carl Cox Scholarship Award application requirements and to apply, click here.
