As festival season would be in full swing, we are simply forced to enjoy the highly anticipated season from the comfort of our own homes. As this is not what we all expected, we can still make the best of it with some good tunes to cheer us up. As for this weekend, Carl Cox is setting up a legendary virtual festival on behalf of his Awesome Soundwave label while partnering with Beatport.
On April 25th, viewers will be able to catch this event via Beatport’s social pages as Cox takes the stage alongside other artists like label co-founder Christopher Coe. Other artists in attendance will be Marc Romboy, Saytek, and The Oolluu and Honeysmack.
In addition, they’ve gracefully set up a donation platform where 50% of proceeds will go to artists and 50% will go to a grassroots aid organization. The stream starts at 7am PT on Saturday.
