In recent news, there is now official confirmation about the famously loved club Space Ibiza coming back to the White Isle. It’s about 2 years now that the 27 year old Space Ibizas shut its doors. While it officially closed in 2016, Carl Cox claimed that if CEO/founder Pepe Rosello were to leave, he’d have to leave as well. He assured that it would take at least two years for it’s reopening, and here we are.
Dave Browning and Juan Arenas join Cox and Rosello in reopening this nightlife destination. Arenas and Browning are close to the Space Family and Arenas served as general manager for 15 years and Browning has been a club promoter on the island for the past 15 years.
”Space club Ibiza has always been my home for the last 20 years,” Cox is quoted. “To pave the new way for the future of Space is really exciting, and now forming a partnership with Pepe, Juan, and Dave Browning to run the newly-formed team, it feels solid in the way that we are a family team, and I feel we can bring everything back to where it belongs.” -Carl Cox
There isn’t concrete details about when or where this club will takeoff but it’s been confirmed that it will reopen and 2019 could definitely be the golden year.
