Today Cityfox, The Brooklyn Mirage, and Pollen Presents announced a brand new event in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico called Departure. This epic experience will welcome over 30 of the world’s top house and techno DJs for a never-before-seen party from January 6-11, 2021.
With their expertise hosting events in the renowned Avant Gardner complex in Brooklyn, New York, Cityfox will create three entirely new venues on the Riviera Maya. Only attendees of Departure will have access to these stages as artists like Amelie Lens, Seth Troxler, and Black Coffee provide musical selections.
After the conclusion of the event, the three unique venues will be dismantled, never to be seen again. This temporary aesthetic gives Departure a very Burning-Man-esque feel, leaning into the idea of being born again at the start of a new year.
Given the resort town location, top-rated travel amenities are built into Departure. Numerous hotels will be just steps away from the event while attendees enjoy morning yoga, boat parties and other fun activities outside the already incredible festival experience.
