The highly-anticipated collaboration between house music icon Chris Lake and singer-songwriter Aluna has finally arrived.
Their new single, “Beggin’,” was just released via Black Book Records and Astralwerks Records.
Expertly crafted at Lake’s Black Book Studios, this alluring and seductive track flaunts a pulsating rhythm that embodies Chris Lake’s exceptional production skills.
The addition of Aluna’s enticing vocals further enhances the song’s appeal, perfectly capturing the energy that Lake is renowned for incorporating into his chart-topping releases.
“‘Beggin’’ is a tale of caution,” according to Chris Lake. Aluna concurs, adding that “Sometimes you want someone so badly, but when you get them, you wish you’d never set eyes on them…a bit like me. I’m a lot.”
Lake will perform at various summer festivals in 2023 and will also take over two stages at Brooklyn Mirage on May 5-6 with Black Book Records for the venue’s 2023 opening weekend.
