Chris Lake Announces Debut Album, ‘Chemistry’

Chris Lake

Chris Lake has officially announced his debut album, Chemistry.

The UK tech house icon announced on social media today that his first-ever full-length studio LP will arrive via Lake’s own Black Book records on July 11, marking a milestone achievement after more than two decades of influential studio releases, such as “Turn off the Lights,” “In The Yuma,” “Beggin’,” and many more.

Though details are scarce at the time of writing, fans can expect several high-profile collaborations, according to Lake’s Instagram post, including the album’s lead single, “In My Head,” with singer-songwriter Amber Mark, released today alongside the LP announcement.

“This album has been a long time in the making, and it features some really special artists I’ve been lucky enough to work with,” Lake wrote. “I can’t wait to share this with you all.”

The album announcement arrives just hours before Lake makes his return to Indio, California’s legendary Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, where he’ll play the event’s first-ever campground pre-party.
