Coachella 2024 is doubling down on dance music like never before. The iconic Southern California festival has unveiled an all-new stage dedicated to marathon sets from some of the world’s most influential electronic artists.
Little is known about Coachella’s new Quasar stage. However, in today’s social media announcement, organizers confirmed that it will host “extended 3+ hour sets,” many of which are coveted B2Bs from artists previously missing from Coachella’s initial lineup.
So far, it appears that Quasar will host one set on each day of the festival, kicking things off with a back-to-back performance from Chicago house legends Honey Dijon and Green Velvet on Friday, April 12.
The following day, on Saturday, April 13, Solid Grooves maestro Michael Bibi is poised for a meaningful return to the desert in what will be one of his first full shows back after a public battle with cancer last year. Quasar’s final set of weekend one will embrace the avant-garde underground with an epic B3B from Jamie xx, Floating Points, and Daphni on Sunday, April 14.
On weekend two, Coachella’s Quasar Bill will showcase some of electronic music’s most in-demand artists of the last year. Fans will be treated to a DJ set from Grammy-winning trio RÜFÜS DU SOL on Friday, April 19, an epic meeting of melodic techno minds in Eric Prydz B2B Anyma on Saturday, April 20, and booming club cuts from Diplo B2B Mau P on Sunday, April 21.

Quasar isn’t the only change Coachella’s Goldenvoice organizers have announced ahead of the festival’s 2024 edition. Last month, the festival shared plans to rebuild and move its famous Sahara Tent, another celebrated home for electronic acts, in addition to rap and pop performances.
Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will return to Indio, California’s Empire Polo Club, from April 12-14 and April 19-21, 2024. Weekend passes are sold out, but fans can join the weekend one waitlist or purchase weekend two tickets here.
