ComplexCon To Debut In Las Vegas With Travis Scott, Playboi Carti Next Month

ComplexCon is heading to Las Vegas for the first time ever.

Part retail swap, part rap concert, the two-day festival from the lifestyle media brand is expected to attract close to 60,000 streetwear enthusiasts, sneakerheads, and pop-culture junkies when it debuts at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall on November 16-17—bolstered by headline performances from rap superstars Travis Scott and Playboi Carti.

In addition to headlining Sunday night’s festivities, Scott—who, like Complex, has become a beacon for youth culture in the digital era—will help curate this year’s programming as the event’s artistic director after he helped inaugurate ComplexCon in 2016. In partnership with the multi-platinum rapper’s Cactus Jack apparel brand, this year’s edition has been fittingly dubbed “CactusCon.”

Attendees will have the chance to shop hundreds of exclusive retail releases and projects from sought-after brands, artists, and musicians, sit in on pop-culture panel discussions, grab high-end bites, and catch live musical performances. All this will unfold across an over 1 million-square-foot layout—ComplexCon’s largest yet and four times bigger than its flagship show in Long Beach.

Before Scott takes the stage, Playboi Carti and his record collective, Opium, will perform on Saturday night, joined by chart-topping hip-hop and trap producer Metro Boomin. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks. Check out a full lineup of brands, food offerings, panels, experiences, and more below.

In March, ComplexCon debuted in Hong Kong. It has also been held in Long Beach, California, since its inception. Previous editions have welcomed exclusive releases from the likes of Nike and Adidas and appearances by Pharrell Williams, Virgil Abloh, J Balvin, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Kobe Bryant, and many more.
