Congress Has Passed A $900 Billion COVID-19 Relief Bill

Just yesterday, Congress passed a new COVID19 relief bill that will help those in need. In order to qualify, there needs to be specific financial situations that are met. Congress agreed on a $900 billion relief package in total, with $15 million going directly to institutions such as independent movie theaters and other independent ventures.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called the plan a “package that delivers urgently needed funds to save the lives and livelihoods of the American people as the virus accelerates.”
