Construction Postponed, Additional Lanes Open For EDC 2018

In a social media post today, Insomniac Founder Pasquale Rotella addressed a big concern for many of this weekend’s EDC attendees: traffic.

The post states that while the closure on the 95 at I-15 will still be in affect, construction on the 15 will be postponed. Also, an additional traffic lane will be open during peak travel times. Las Vegas Blvd will be completely open during EDC weekend.

Rotella also instructs attendees to utilize the Insomniac Shuttles which will be using exclusive routes not available to other vehicles.

Finally, Rotella says this year’s EDC weather will be the best it’s ever been with highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid-70’s at night

Do know, there are still multiple events happening on the strip which will undoubtably cause additional traffic. However, all in all, it looks like Insomniac is trying to make your journey to EDC as comfortable as possible. You can see the full post below.
