After one fan cracked a cryptic secret code that led to a preemptive lineup reveal on Tuesday, the excitement for Countdown NYE 2023 has come thick and fast.
Today, the excitement stands to continue as Insomniac has now officially confirmed the impressive bill for their New Year’s celebration at the NOS Event Center on December 30 and 31, 2023.
Countdown NYE 2023 will host the festival’s largest lineup ever, with big name acts like Alison Wonderland, deadmau5, Tiësto, The Chainsmokers, Porter Robinson and more set to kick off the new year with a bang.
The diverse lineup continues with earth-shattering bass artists like NGHTMRE, SVDDEN DEATH, Space Laces, Kayzo, and G Jones, while house and techno will also be on display with performances from Nicole Moudaber, Layton Giordani, Mau P, FISHER, Oliver Heldens and a DJ set from Sofi Tukker.
Perhaps the most notable inclusion of all on the 2023 Countdown lineup is a DJ set from legendary bass group NERO. Though the performance is unlikely to feature all three members, the announcement follows steadily increasing hype around the Grammy-winning trio, who will release their first solo track since 2018 later this week.
Insomniac is also excited to share that Countdown 2023 will feature an all-new fifth stage called Galactik Gate, as well as brand new stage designs for the Mothership main stage, their Area 51 bass stage and a complete production overhaul with even more lasers–perfect for defending planet earth from a “New Year’s Invasion.”
