“Another Night” is set to be the electronic and indie-pop song of the summer as producer, singer, and songwriter Covex has teamed up with Fi Sullivan to deliver a nostalgic tune with a fresh and unique sound.
“I wish I had you, just for another night,” is the main tagline in the song, sung soulfully by Fi Sullivan. Covex also adds his signature indie-pop beat with hints of stutter house.
Covex described the track, stating, “We wrote the lyrics and melody in one day, it was a beautiful experience. Fi’s voice added so much emotion and soul, it wouldn’t be the same without her.”
Sullivan’s vocals (and Covex’s backup vocals) describe a common scenario within romantic relationships, longing for a partner and not being able to spend time with them, whatever the reason may be. Backed with a groovy beat, “Another Night” is relatable and provides nostalgia for those nights where spending time with someone is a blessing.
Colorado native Covex is no stranger to the dance music space and has been creating music since at least 2018. He is a multifaceted talent, not only producing house tracks, but often writing and singing his own melodies.
He has toured with the likes of Big Gigantic, INZO, Grabbitz, and more, but most notably he was featured on the track “Second Time” with Big Gigantic, further cementing his path into the dance music space.
