Hi there! Since 2012, EDM Maniac has been a dance music media brand based out of Los Angeles, California. Over the past 10 years, we have kept the dance music community informed about events, news, festivals, you name it. Maybe you’ve heard of us! A lot has changed and evolved over the last 10 years, especially the way we consume media. Creators like yourself are out there presenting information, ideas, and stories in a whole new way. We’re looking for passionate, original, and creative content creators to join our team! As this program is brand-new, we’re looking for dance music creators of all kinds.
Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
- Develop new and creative highly engaging content to grow our TikTok and Instagram (reel) audiences
- Be one of the faces of our company on TikTok to promote and highlight trending/relevant topics/news stories for brand awareness, follower growth, and more
- Work alongside our content specialists to ensure that content is aligned with brand aesthetics and identity
- Keep up with the latest social media trends such as but not limited to news, memes, DJs, music, etc and find ways to promote our brand and ethos
- Must have an unparalleled passion for the dance music, culture, and community
- Extremely tech-savvy, with strong communication skills
- High-level understanding of TikTok platform and video editing
- Knowledgeable and up-to-date in different social media trends and best practices
- Able to create 3-5 videos per week
- Committed to our brand growth and ability to perform on deadlines
