Tequila, music, and an unforgettable journey—Cuervo Akamba Festival is back on May 3, 2025, bringing a stacked lineup to the breathtaking agave fields of Tequila, Mexico. Set in the heart of Jalisco, where tequila was born, the festival blends electronic beats, local culture, and sustainability into a one-of-a-kind experience.

Akamba Festival 2025 Lineup

This year’s lineup features house and techno heavyweights like CamelPhat, Overmono, WhoMadeWho, Dixon, Satori, and Hercules & Love AffairJimi JulesRochelle JordanPachanga Boys, and Paurro are also joining the bill.

The Cuervo Akamba Express: A Festival Journey Like No Other

The adventure starts aboard the Cuervo Akamba Express, a 120-minute festival takeover train ride from Guadalajara to Tequila. Along the way, festival-goers can sip on Cuervo tequila cocktails, vibe to live DJ sets in each train car, and take in stunning views of the UNESCO-protected agave fields.

Sustainability At The Core

Beyond the music, Cuervo Akamba continues its commitment to sustainability. The festival has introduced eco-conscious initiatives, including:

Reusable stage designs and branded activations made from eco-friendly materials

Carbon footprint tracking, with compensation through environmental projects in Jalisco

Comprehensive waste management with on-site recycling and composting

Free water stations to cut down on plastic usage (2,318 liters of water were consumed in 2024, saving 6,530 single-use bottles)

Biodegradable food & drink packaging made from repurposed Cuervo agave fibers

These efforts align with Cuervo’s long-term commitment to sustainable tequila production through The Agave Project, which focuses on reusing, recycling, and repurposing 100% of the agave plant for eco-friendly alternatives like agave fiber-based straws, cups, bricks, and even car parts.
