Daft Punk Unveils Series Of Key Interviews With Past Collaborators Called Memory Tapes

Daft Punk’s 10th-anniversary celebration of Random Access Memories continues as the duo just dropped a series called Memory Tapes that looks back on the creation of the album.

Memory Tapes features interviews with key artists who collaborated on the famous record, with each episode also containing never before seen studio footage of Daft Punk working with these creatives.

During the initial production of Random Access Memories, Daft Punk partnered with The Creators Project to capture an interview series called The Collaborators.

Memory Tapes is now a follow-up a decade later for all contributors to share memories and reminisce on the impact of the life-changing LP.

These interviews were conducted at Henson Studios in Los Angeles and Gang Studios in Paris, the same locations where the original release was recorded all those years ago.

The first episode of Memory Tapes centers on Julian Casablancas while the second episode, both out now, talks with Chilly Gonazales.

Upcoming episodes will feature Panda Bear, DJ Falcon, Todd Edwards, Pharell Williams, Nile Rodgers, and Paul Williams with Chris Caswell.

Random Access Memories is twice Platinum, won a Grammy for Album of the Year, and contains the twice Platinum selling track “Get Lucky.
