Deadbeats and Cyclops Recordings are linking back up for another warehouse bass showcase at Miami Music Week this spring.
The joint event during electronic music’s annual South Florida rendezvous will see Zeds Dead‘s and Subtronics’ respective labels host a horde of heavyweight B2B sets from their top signees—plus a headline B2B from the label bosses themselves.
“Deadbeats vs. Cyclops Recordings” Miami Music Week will go down at the Mana Wynwood on March 27. Zeds Dead and Subtronics are both slated for headline performances at Ultra Music Festival the same weekend, and it’s likely exclusivity clauses in their contracts are to blame for the event’s mystery headliner.
However, with their performance at last year’s event and spellings that match missing characters on the flyer, it’s all but confirmed that Subtronics and Zeds Dead will close out the party.
They’ll be joined by an exciting crop of established and burgeoning bass DJs across a variety of styles. Expect mind-expanding experimental bass and 140-BPM dubstep from the likes of Distinct Motive B2B EAZYBAKED, Lumasi B2B Mary Droppinz, and OkayJake B2B STVSH, and high-octane drum & bass from Friction B2B Gentlemens Club and Siren B2B Skellytn.
It’s shaping up to be another big year for Subtronics and Zeds Dead. On top of Ultra, both artists recently announced their respective fifth and 11th headline shows at Colorado’s famous Red Rocks. In 2025, Subtronics will also hold down his first-ever Las Vegas residency, while Zeds Dead are set to release their second full-length album in early March.
