Deadmau5 And Kaskade Team Up For New Project “Kx5”

AHHHHHHHH! Just the kind of news we LOVE to hear. Two of dance music’s iconic producers have come together once again, nearly 14 years after their hit collab “I Remember,” for a brand-new project, “Kx5.”

The project was teased back in July at the end of @Kaskade‘s history-making show at LA’s SoFi Stadium last July, when @deadmau5 joined #Kaskade on stage for a few songs. They of course dropped their famous collab and left the audience in complete awe. Following the set, an on-screen displayed a simple “Kx5” graphic which left many fans in bewilderment and excitement.

Today, after teasing the announcement on social media last night, the two took to Instagram live to announce the project and previewed part of their new track, which will be out March 11th. The track was very reminiscent of “I Remember” and featured signature Joel synths and Kaskade’s stunning passion for strong female vocals.

Most importantly, the two announced that while there is no official tour planned, they will perform together at this year’s EDC Las Vegas, taking place May 20+21+22 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tickets are still available.

It’s incredible to see these two renowned producers come together once again for what will undoubtedly be another immortal moment in dance music history. You can pre-save the new track here.
