Deep Tech LA Marks 4th Anniversary With Celebration At Globe Theater, Los Angeles

On April 28, Deep Tech Los Angeles (DTLA) Records will take over the Wunderground at Globe Theatre in Los Angeles for their 4th Anniversary Party.

This event is a celebration of the label’s success and the talented artists who have contributed to “Serving THICC Underground Beats Since 2019.”

The upcoming event is set to pay tribute to the artists who have supported the brand from the very beginning, featuring JJ Flores and Shanto on the decks. Completing the lineup for the night will be the label’s chief Redux Saints and Placebo eFX.

DTLA Records was developed by owner Jason Trevor Miller during his time at the Toolroom Academy Master Program in 2017.

Initially, the brand was part of Krated Music based in the UK, which released three compilations consisting of producers from the underground scene in the Los Angeles area. However, in 2019, Jason left Krated Music and started DTLA Records as an independent label.

Deep Tech LA has made a name for itself in the industry with a roster that includes Chapter & Verse, Charles D, D. Ramirez, Tall Paul, Angel Heredia, Pako Ramirez, Redux Saints, Placebo eFX, and others.

The label’s sound is built around Miller’s two production aliases, Redux Saints and Placebo eFx, which are employed for producing tech house and house, and melodic techno and progressive house, respectively.

Since its formation just four years ago, the label has launched over 50 singles and more than 10 compilations, in addition to organizing events in various cities worldwide, such as Barcelona, Amsterdam, UK, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Diego.

As a result, the label has solidified its position as a major player in the underground music scene, currently ranking in the Top 100 Labels on the Beatport Tech House Hype Chart and Top 100 Progressive House Hype Chart.

Beyond hit songs and events, DTLA has landed successful partnerships with New Life Sounds and EDM Maniac during Miami Music Week, which has paved the way for the return of their “THICC BEATS AFTER PARTY” event, this time in fabulous Las Vegas.

Happening at Club Ego on Sunday, May 21 as an after-hours, this event is the perfect opportunity for EDC festival-goers to keep the party going after the festival’s conclusion.
