Q-Dance Reveals Lineup For Defqon.1 Weekend Festival 2024

The world’s largest hard dance festival, Q-Dance’s Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, has just announced its 2024 lineup.

From June 27-30, 2024, over 250,000 attendees are expected to flock to the hard dance mecca in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands, for four days of music from leading artists in hardstyle, hardcore, rawstyle, uptempo, and more.

On Thursday, June 27, Defqon.1 will get the party started with “The Gathering,” featuring performances from 2024 anthem-makers Sound Rush and hardcore legend Mad Dog. These sets, exclusive to camping attendees, come as the first of four closing shows throughout the weekend and will mark an official “welcome home” for the festival’s devoted “weekend warriors.”

Friday, June 28, will be the first official day of Defqon.1, opening its doors to all attendees for an opening ceremony performance by Ran-D on the festival’s RED mainstage. Showtek will also grace the RED stage, while hardcore enthusiasts will be excited to see uptempo sensation Spitnoise throw down on the BLACK stage.

Hard techno acts like Luciid and Cynthia Spiering will perform on the GREEN stage on Friday before fan-favorite Sefa closes out the RED stage with his special “The Spotlight with Sefa” performance.

Saturday passes for Defqon.1 sold out in minutes, and with good reason. June 29 will see the return of Defqon.1’s famous “Warrior Workout,” premiering on the RED mainstage for the first time in what will be the festival’s largest workout ever. The festival’s beloved POWER HOUR will also take place on Saturday.

Better yet, acclaimed Italian hardstyle artist Rooler will make his own debut on the RED stage on Saturday before hardcore champ Angerfist closes the mainstage later in the night.

Finally, Defqon.1’s “Sunday Funday” on June 30 will see attendees converge upon the RED stage for the festival’s closing ceremony. This year’s ceremony will be extended from three hours to a five-hour affair, culminating in “The Closing Ritual” with a breathtaking fireworks display.

The lineup for Defqon.1’s closing ceremony lineup remains a secret, but organizers have promised “one Defqon.1 legend after another to close this edition in spectacular fashion.”

Weekend and Saturday passes are currently sold out, but a limited number of Friday and Sunday tickets are still available here.
