Dekmantel Festival Celebrates 10 Years With Huge Stage-By-Stage Compilation

Amsterdam’s iconic Dekmantel Festival is celebrating ten years with a mammoth seven-record, 44-track compilation.

Dekmantel Ten: A Decade of Dekmantel Festival will arrive via Dekmantel Records on September 13. The limited-edition vinyl box set is said to reflect the heady techno festival’s rich decade-long history and is split into seven records, each devoted to the sonic vibe found at Dekmantel’s seven stages at the Amsterdamse Bos.

Forty-four artists “that have shaped, and continue to shape,” Dekmantel’s journey have lent their talents for exclusive productions on the compilation, grouped by the stages on which they’ve played through the years.

A record devoted to the sounds of The Loop features tracks from Young Marco, Palms Trax, Call Super, and Octo Octa & Eris Drew‘s Alchemical Sisters project, among others, while UFO I features selections from Jeff Mills, DJ Nobu, JakoJako and more.

The compilation also includes Steffi and DVS1 on Selectors; Kode9, Nick León, and Adrian Sherwood on Greenhouse; upsammy, BADSISTA, and Introspekt on The Nest; Karenn (Blawan & Pariah) and Aquarian on UFO II; and Marcel Dettmann, Aurora Halal & DJ G, Polygonia, and DJ Python on Radar, among others.

“‘DKMNTL100’ is our testament to electronic music’s essence and evolution, as well as a tribute to the trailblazers who’ve paved our path,” Dekmantel wrote on Instagram.

Fans can grab an early-bird copy of Dekmantel Ten: A Decade of Dekmantel Festival when the event returns to Amsterdam from July 26 to August 4. The extended 10-day, multi-venue edition will feature the Dekmantel’s biggest lineup ever, including performances from Bicep, Avalon Emerson, Joy Orbison, Goldie, Luke Slater, Ben UFO, SPFDJ, Helena Hauff, and many more.
