Denver had a record year for tourism in 2022, welcoming 36.3 million visitors, marking a 15% increase from 2021 and surpassing all historic stats.
This past year, according to a study by Longwoods International which has been studying Denver visitors since 1994, a landmark $9.4 billion was generated in tourism revenue, far surpassing the previous record of $7 billion in 2019.
Denver has become a huge hub for electronic music due to popular nearby venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Mission Ballroom, Meow Wolf, and more.
Not to mention huge local events like Sonic Bloom with CloZee, Rome in Silver, and Alix Perez, REGENERATE with CamelPhat, Charlotte De Witte, LP Giobbi, and Mochakk, and Shaq’s Female All-Stars Edition.
This past month, ILLENIUM also broke Colorado records with his monumental Trilogy show. 50,000 fans attended the melodic bass icon’s epic performance, making it the single biggest EDM concert in the state’s history, and one of the largest-ever headlining events in Colorado.
EDM is so engrained into the culture that when the Denver Nuggets celebrated their NBA Championship, GRiZ and Big Gigantic performed for free at the parade festivities.
