Movement Detroit Drops A Portion Of Their Talent-Ridden 2023 Lineup

Detroit Movement has unveiled a fragment of their talent-ridden 2023 lineup as they prepare to open the gates of techno heaven this May.  For being only a fraction of a soon-to-be fully formed roster, it already exhibits plenty of divine techno.

The annual three-day function returns to the Detroit Hart Plaza on May 27-29, supplying devout dance music lovers with the ideal destination to celebrate their Memorial Day Weekend.

The latest announcement from the famed five-stage festival is all hits and no misses with an impressive array of more than 20 of the most celebrated names in the scene, which is only appropriate for an event taking place in the birthplace of techno music.

Names like Carl Craig and Robert Hood complement the lineup as they are originators of Motor City techno culture. More highlights include female pacesetter Charlotte De Witte, and techno pioneer Chris Liebing. More exceptional talent occupies the incomplete roster like Klangkuenstler, LSDXOXO, and Underworld for instance

Tech-house is also sure to get its Movement moment with a Dom Dolla B2B John Summit set.

While this is only a sneak peak of what Movement Detroit will have to offer in 2023, it’s looking good so far. Stay tuned for more announcements to come.

A battle with epilepsy could not stop me from finding the rave community or pursuing my passion to write. I was a journalism major at my college writing about sports when my condition took me out of my classes and stuck me in my home to focus on bills and get healthy. Once I got my seizures under control through medication I decided to face my fear of crowds and lasers in order to finally experience house music in festival fashion at Day Trip 2021. I quickly learned that I could continue to rave and manage my condition simultaneously. Then a raver was born! I love house and techno the most, which ironically are the genres that even brought my parents together. The dance music culture and community has connected me with the opportunity to write about my passion, the best of friends, a lover, and good and bad experiences that continue to grow me as a person. I'm based in Southern California let's catch a set!
