Today multi-genre producer and DJ, Dillon Francis, put out his latest album, Happy Machine. This LP, released on Diplo‘s label Mad Decent, includes eight tracks of upbeat house music. Francis produced these tracks in the midst of the pandemic as a reminder to practice gratitude and remain positive through this turbulent time.
Today is also Francis’s 34th birthday, a proper reason to drop such joyous tunes. Each of the cuts on the album is equally driven by dance and pop music. Songwriters like MNEK and Jenna Andrews who have worked behind the scenes with the superstar Korean boy band BTS and pop sensation Selena Gomez contributed to the new album, balancing Francis’s signature raucous aesthetic with a radio-friendly feel.
