Dimension, Sub Focus, and NGHTMRE have announced that their new single, “Angel,” will arrive this Friday, August 30.
The track marks the first official collaboration between the pair of surging WORSHIP stalwarts and the fan-favorite dubstep artist. Sub Focus and Dimension notably solicited a remix from NGHTMRE for their 2023 hit, “Ready To Fly,” but “Angel” is the first original track they’ve produced as a trio.
Featuring a pop-tinged aesthetic and catchy vocals from Mougleta, known for her work with NGHTMRE, Gorgon City, and more, the drum & bass tune is packed with peak-time euphoria and feels tailor-made for the festival stage.
Naturally, it’s emerged as a fan-favorite ID this festival season, from early plays on Sub Focus and Dimension’s WORSHIP tour this past spring to landmark sets at Tomorrowland and Electric Forest, and NGHTMRE’s recent summer touring exploits.
“Angel” follows NGHTMRE’s collaboration-heavy UNSOUND 2 EP, which featured the artist’s previous collaboration with Mougleta and Liquid Stranger, “Restless.” Dimension’s most recent release, “Satellite,” another coveted cross-genre collaboration with Alison Wonderland, arrived in April, while Sub Focus’ latest, “Wildfire,” landed last month.
This fall, NGHTMRE and Dimension are slated for back-to-back performances at Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival in Texas and Subtronics’ Cyclops Dome in Tacoma, Washington in November. Next month, Sub Focus will perform at Nocturnal Wonderland ahead of a string of shows in Australia and New Zealand and an appearance at EDC Orlando in November.
