Disclosure’s Guy Lawrence Taps Sammy Virji And salute For Friends & Family Europe

Disclosure’s Guy Lawrence is taking his Friends & Family party to Europe, linking up with two of UK garage’s finest for a two-night run of back-to-back sets next month.

After his first Friends & Family show took Miami’s Club Space by storm with a Green Velvet B2B in December, Lawrence will next collaborate with Sammy Virji and salute for two more family affairs in Amsterdam and Berlin.

Guy Lawrence B2B Sammy Virji will take place at The Loft in Amsterdam on Friday, March 29. Guy Lawrence B2B salute will follow on Saturday, March 30 at Berlin’s Kesselhaus. Both shows serve as well-deserved nods to two of the UK’s most rapidly rising stars.

After breaking through internationally with an official remix of Aluna’s “Body Pump” in 2020, Virji has unloaded hit after hit, including groovy bangers like “If U Need It” and “Find My Way Home.” His viral set for DJ Mag landed on Vice’s list of “The 203 Biggest Pop Culture moments of 2023,” and his high-energy performances are only increasing in number, with a first-ever U.S. tour and a busy slate of festival appearances in 2024.

Salute’s equally groovy club hits also captured the hearts of the dance music masses in 2023. “Joy,” “Wait For It” and “Peach”–a collaboration with Virji–have quickly become crowd favorites, in addition to remixes for Disclosure and Todd Edwards. A viral B2B with Barry Can’t Swim has only added to the Manchester-based house artist’s global intrigue.

Lawrence’s new party concept was born last fall when he professed his love for “playing smaller, sweaty clubs” on Instagram ahead of a pending announcement that would become Friends & Family Miami.

In recent years, these more intimate performances have become largely untenable for the eight-time Grammy-nominated Disclosure, but now Lawrence is doing his part to bring the magic back, playing extended sets alongside artists he admires.

Pre-sale registration for Guy Lawrence’s Friends & Family Europe is now available here. Pre-sale access will begin Monday, March 4 at 12PM CET (6AM EST). General on-sale will follow on Tuesday, March 5 at 12PM CET.
