Disclosure has finally released their long-awaited new single, “She’s Gone, Dance On,” out now via Disorder/Capitol Records.
The Grammy-nominated duo’s work on the sun-kissed house track began all the way back in 2017 when brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence dug up a sample from legendary late Italian composer Ennio Morricone’s 1978 song “Dance On,” from the film Così Como Se.
After six years in production, Guy debuted “She’s Gone, Dance On” at Disclosure’s LA pop-up event last October, and the track has spread like wildfire ever since, appearing in sets from fellow top names like Todd Edwards, Joy Anonymous, salute, DJ Seinfeld, Peggy Gou, Sammy Virji and Dom Dolla.
With the infectious Morricone sample finally cleared, “She’s Gone, Dance On” arrives just in time to stake its claim as the song of the summer, complete with scintillating synth chords and anthemic melodies that make it a club-ready heater.
The new track also arrives ahead of Disclosure’s anticipated return to the live circuit this summer. During the duo’s upcoming headline festival run, they’ll showcase an all-new live show with live instrumentation and a bold new audio-visual experience, beginning with Barcelona’s Primavera Sound this Friday.
Later in the summer, landmark U.S. dates are planned for HARD Summer in LA, CRSSD Fall in San Diego, and Portola in San Francisco. Find a complete list of tour dates here.
