Disclosure has been revealed as the secret special guest for Creamfields 2024, playing B2B with Steve Angello.
Guy Lawrence will represent the Grammy-nominated house duo in the absence of his brother Howard at this year’s festival, which is back in Daresbury, Cheshire, in the Northwest of England this weekend, August 22-25.
The two-hour set will see Disclosure and famed Swedish House Mafia member Angello merge their markedly different musical styles for the first time. The collaborative debut will take place from 7PM to 9PM tomorrow, Friday, August 23, on Creamfields’ new Zenless Zone Zero stage.
Initially unveiled under the name “APEX,” the 30,000-capacity stage is billed by festival organizers as the “largest indoor festival superstructure in the world”—a sensible location for the B2B which is expected to draw large crowds. The Zenless Zone Zero stage will also host performances from FISHER, Ben Hemsley, Tiësto, Michael Bibi, Chris Stussy, and more throughout the weekend.
“Combined with jaw dropping production and the electric atmosphere Creamfields is known for, this brand-new addition to the festival’s landscape, shielded from the elements, will offer an epic immersive experience,” organizers wrote of the stage upon revealing its renderings in December.
Following its grand opening on Friday, the new stage will also feature extended hours on Saturday, remaining open until 4AM—the latest end time in the festival’s history. Creamfelds’ famous Steelyard stage will also stay open late, hosting another never-before-heard B2B from Patrick Topping and Solomun on Saturday.
Founded as a single-day event in 1998, Creamfields has grown to become the UK’s largest electronic music festival, attracting over 70,000 attendees daily. Other high-profile performances at this year’s edition include Calvin Harris, CamelPhat, Martin Garrix, Bicep, and Eric Prydz, whose Saturday night Steelyard performance will be streamed live here in partnership with Beatport.
