Deadbeats and Brownies & Lemonade are leading the charge on the drum and bass resurgence in the United States under the name DNBNL.
Last week, the two powerful brands announced a partnership that will see them collaborate to release music for the very first time, and today, the partnership has officially begun with an exciting new single from widely recognized D&B producers, DNMO and Bensley.
The new track, “Interference,” serves as a testament to the genre’s stateside expansion, with both labels promoting fresh-faced talent that will “propel the genre forward and introduce a new wave of dance enthusiasts to the dynamic sounds of D&B.”
Founded by bass duo Zeds Dead, Deadbeats has been championing the underground for years by spotlighting artists with sounds who break the mold. The label’s current roster includes the likes of SHADES (Alix Perez & EPROM), Dion Timmer, VCTRE, IMANU, and many more.
Building on the success of their cutting-edge events, which have been running in Los Angeles since 2012, Brownies & Lemonade launched a new live event arm, DNBNL, in 2021.
The drum and bass party series has quickly become one of the most prominent showcases for the genre in North America and has featured legendary acts like Chase & Status, Sub Focus, and many more.
