Dom Dolla has launched his own record label.
The Australian house artist just announced that Good Fortune Records will open its catalog this Friday, October 16, with the release of “DANCE,” the hotly tipped new tech house single from fellow Aussie Torren Foot and British singer-songwriter rhys from sticks.
“After 20 years of DJing, I still find nothing more exciting than discovering new records that rip holes through a dance floor,” Dom wrote on Instagram. “This week, I’m finally launching Good Fortune Records. A record label that began as a party brand I’ve been running events under for the last few years. A place where both new up and coming artists and established legends can come together and do what they do best.”
The announcement comes just days after the new label boss teamed up with KETTAMA for a massive B2B at Goldenvoice’s one-time-only Head Trip festival on the Coachella grounds in Indio, California, where he played “DANCE” for a 90,000-capacity crowd.
The track is finally set to land after a year of road testing and live support from major players like Solomun, Peggy Gou, Michael Bibi, and Dom himself.
