Dom Dolla and Tove Lo’s anticipated collaborative single, “CAVE,” is set to arrive this Friday, October 11.
Complete with silky rolling drums and swollen low-end sub-bass, the liquid drum & bass tune marks a departure from the tech house and pop music stylings the Aussie house artist and superstar Swedish singer-songwriter are respectively known for, as global demand for the high-speed genre continues to swell.
“After years of being mates and many late night convos about making music together, we finally made it into the studio and came up with something a bit different for us both – we’re excited to finally share it with you all,” Dom Dolla and Tove Lo wrote of the track in a joint Instagram post today.
Dom Dolla announced he was putting the finishing touches on “CAVE” in a TikTok post in August, following the pair’s premiere of the track at Coachella in April, with Tove Lo joining the producer-DJ on stage for a special live rendition. Fans can now watch the full set from weekend two via Dom Dolla’s YouTube Channel.
“CAVE” follows Dom Dolla’s June-released song of the summer bid, “girl$,” and its ensuing remixes by Layton Giordani and Nala, marking his second original release of 2024.
This weekend, Dom Dolla will return to perform at weekend two of Austin City Limits ahead of sold-out shows at Los Angeles State Historic Park, The Warehouse Project, and DRUMSHEDS through mid-November. In between residency dates at Las Vegas’ LIV Nightclub, he’s also slated for an Australian tour in December before returning stateside for New Year’s events like Decadence Arizona, Together As One, and PROPER NYE.
Last week, Ultra Miami confirmed that Dom Dolla and John Summit will headline the festival’s mainstage with their joint Everything Always project in 2025.
