Renowned techno producer and DJ Adam Beyer is set to host a pop-up store at this year’s edition of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) along with his celebrated label and brand, Drumcode.
The shop will be called Drumcode Centraal and it will run from 12PM-8PM on October 18-19 at the Bonne store in the heart of Amsterdam’s Red Light District.
In addition to selling exclusive merchandise and running a number of exciting giveaways, Drumcode Centraal will also host “a selection of the Drumcode family” including Space 92, Marie Vaunt, Joris Voorn, Layton Giordani, and Beyer himself who will be spinning live in the shop throughout its operation.
Admission to the pop-up and all of its high-profile performances will be completely free. Fans can RSVP ahead of time for the chance to win a number of prizes, including two tickets to Drumcode’s sold-out Awakenings show at Gashouder, a signed, limited edition vinyl repress of “Your Mind” and more.
The most distinctive of Drumcode’s 2023 ADE Giveaways is a contest titled “Make Your Mark,” affording producers the chance to turn their original demo into an official Drumcode release.
Alongside flights and hotel accommodations for ADE, the winner will head to Martin Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS studio to finish the track with help from Drumcode artist Bart Skils, before playing B2B with Skils at the Drumcode Centraal pop-up. Submissions will remain open until October 10.
Since Beyer launched Drumcode in 1996–the same year that ADE began–the imprint has become one of the most commercially successful techno labels in existence, heralded as the highest-selling label on Beatport in 2018.
