EDC China is officially returning after a three-year hiatus.
From October 2-3, Yang Cheng Lake Resort west of Shanghai in Suzhou, China, will once again be treated to a large-scale festival by international event brand Insomniac.
Several stages will also be making their way from Vegas to China including kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, stereoBLOOM, and the Boombox Art Car.
Insomniac released a trailer for the 2023 event highlighting several ravers from past editions plus the stunning venue all set to Dr. Fresch and Marten Hørger‘s “Take A Step Back.”
EDC China first debuted in 2018 as Insomniac’s second EDC festival in Asia with the first being EDC Japan. There was a 2019 edition of EDC China as well, but the event hasn’t taken place since then due to the pandemic.
CEO of Insomniac Pasquale Rotella said at the time of the announcement, “To bring EDC halfway around the world is a milestone for our entire Insomniac family. China marks EDC’s sixth international location, and I’m excited to connect and create beautiful new moments with the country’s passionate and ever-growing dance music community.”
The lineup for EDC China 2023 has not yet been released but past editions have featured deadmau5, Alison Wonderland, WHIPPED CREAM, Autograf, JAUZ, Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz, and Cosmic Gate.
