EDC Las Vegas 2022 Resulted In 39 Arrests And 13 Citations Per Las Vegas Police Department

The Las Vegas Police Department made 39 arrests and issued 13 citations throughout EDC Las Vegas 2022 according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. There is no further information on the nature of these arrests.

Overall, these numbers are down from the previous year where Las Vegas authorities made 34 felony arrests while reporting 43 misdemeanor infractions and six DUIs.

The overall trend is shifting down as the 2019 edition of the festival (there was no 2020 edition due to COVID-19) saw 65 felony arrests.

2022 also saw a larger crowd than the two previous years, averaging 166,000 people per day, totaling 498,000. 2019 and 2021 welcomed around 450,000 people total across the three days.

Attendance numbers increasing and arrest numbers decreasing demonstrates a more responsible raving community. Given that Insomniac has brought EDC to Las Vegas since 2011, the crowds are clearly getting older and more conscious of themselves and those around them.
