EDC Las Vegas is expanding to two weekends in 2027.
Announced last night, the festival’s new “Dusk Till Dawn” format will split the festival into two separate weekends. Returning to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, “EDC Dusk” will take place May 14-16, followed by “EDC Dawn” on May 21-23. Combined with new programming planned before and between both weekends, the full “Dusk Till Dawn” experience will run from May 13-24, 2027.
The expansion aims to create a smoother, more immersive experience for attendees while easing some of the long-standing congestion and travel challenges that come with hosting one of the world’s largest dance music festivals, according to a statement from Insomniac Events founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella.
The festival producer said EDC Dusk and EDC Dawn will each operate with reduced capacity compared to previous editions, intended to provide more room on dance floors while also helping reduce pressure on hotels, flights, and traffic throughout Las Vegas during festival season. Insomniac also revealed plans to bring ticket pricing closer to the festival’s earlier years to make the trip more financially accessible for ravers traveling to the city.
Despite the split-weekend format, organizers said fans can expect the same level of production and overall experience across both weekends. Current plans also call for both weekends to feature the same lineup.
Camp EDC and Hotel EDC will return for both EDC Dusk and EDC Dawn in 2027, with more information due to be released in the coming months. Organizers also teased additional programming and events scheduled during the week between both festival weekends as part of the larger 12-day experience.
