Up-and-coming DJs listen up: EDM Maniac, NEW LIFE, and Deep Tech Los Angeles are coming together to host a special DJ contest where the winner will perform at our late-night THICC BEATS afterparty May 21 in Las Vegas.
Early morning Monday, May 22/ late night Sunday, May 21, join us in Las Vegas after one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world for an afterparty unlike any other.
Recover and rest well into the early morning minutes from the strip at Las Vegas’s after-hours hotspot Club Ego to keep the bender weekend going.
And you could have a chance to play this legendary event and join our wild afterparty lineup.
To Enter:
1. Record a 30–35-minute mix in line with the sound of Deep Tech Los Angeles Records
2. Upload the mix to your Soundcloud profile. The mix title should be: THICC BEATS AFTER HOURS IN LAS VEGAS DJ MIX COMPETITION: “DJ NAME.”
3. Use the THICC BEATS AFTER HOURS DJ MIX COMPETITION artwork as a thumbnail (as seen below).
4. Add the following hashtags #THICCBEATSAFTERHOURS
5. Add full track listing, email address, and social media accounts in the mix description.
6. Share the mix on your social media channels to your stories and feed, tagging @deeptechla, @newlifesounds, and @edm_maniac. When posting, use the assets available to download via the Google Drive link below:

The competition will end Sunday, May 14 at 10 PM PST and the winner will be announced Tuesday, May 16.
Judging Process:
Mixes will be evaluated based on three key factors: song selection, mixing skills, and expert evaluations from the panel of judges.
Additional Rules:
There is only one entry per DJ and you must be 21+. You must follow the rules indicated and any deviation will forfeit your entry.
You must be available on Monday, May 22 from 6AM to 11AM for the THICC BEATS After Hour party at Club Ego in Las Vegas: 1000 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104
