David Crow, better known by his stage name Ghastly, is an American DJ and seasoned veteran in the dance music world, mastering the melodic dubstep genre before moving on to his darker side project, GHENGAR. He has released tracks on prominent labels like Owsla, Buygore, and Dim Mak and collaborated with huge names including NGHTMRE, Crankdat, Barely Alive, and even Lil Jon.
A nomad at heart, he also recently decided to move into an RV to travel and DJ all across America. Perfect timing because he’s about to head out on a full three-month tour for GHENGAR entitled the “NECROMANCER Tour.”
GHENGAR is the darker side of Ghastly, donning an evil, glowing mask with a jack-o-lantern smile. The sound is heavy and aggressive, giving Ghastly room to explore the dubstep world. His first GHENGAR EP, Necromancer, is a headbanger’s dream. With futuristic growls and some heavy-metal-inspired bass, this work shows GHASTLY is an incredibly versatile artist.
