Your 2024 EDMMY Awards winners are here.
The second annual edition of EDM Maniac’s 100-percent fan-voted awards, sponsored by Discotech, counted thousands of votes from electronic music lovers across the globe to crown your favorite artists, festivals, creators, tunes, and trends of 2024.
Showcased on the official EDMMYs Instagram page on December 24, this year’s honors transported dance fans to a mythical and dystopian world where music reigns supreme.
Using cutting-edge virtual technologies, EDMMY hosts Dianna Lopez and Jules Sperazzo guided viewers on a journey through an immersive digital landscape filled with breathtaking visuals and otherworldly settings, revealing this year’s winners category-by-category, and bringing the magic of dance music to life in a whole new way.
Excision’s Lost Lands was a top winner at this year’s EDMMY Awards, grabbing the award for U.S. Festival of the Year and several nominations in the Best Festival Stage Design category. The dino-themed dubstep festival also hosted your B2B set of the year, with Excision and Wooli’s collaborative performance on the Prehistoric stage taking the top spot.
The biggest winner on the international festival circuit, Tomorrowland’s immersive production helped its flagship festival in Belgium win International Festival of the Year and take home Best International Festival Stage Design for its Life Mainstage. Tomorrowland Brazil’s Adscendo Mainstage was also a finalist.
Colorado’s world-famous Red Rocks retained its crown as venue of the year, beating out finalists such as Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre, Miami’s Club Space and Washington D.C.’s Echostage.
This year’s EDMMYs again highlighted the work of talented EDM content creators who grow our community digitally and IRL. The 2024 Creator of the Year award went to @motherbeef alongside finalist showings from @tweenkboosiechase, @tatum.bell, @emmakapotes, and @bassbaedaniel.
Winners in the music categories included John Summit, Sub Focus, and Julia Church, who took home Viral Track of the Year for their house-meets-drum-n-bass single, “Go Back,” and experimental bass trio Levity, who grabbed Breakout Artist of 2024.
